IT Security Community Exchange (IT-SECX)
IT-SECX is the annual conference hosted by USTP—University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten—on current topics in IT security. The event brings together researchers, companies, and industry experts and provides a platform for knowledge transfer, exchange, and networking. IT-SECX is organized by the Department of Computer Science & Security at USTP.

We are happy to welcome you back on 2 October 2026.
The motto of this year’s IT-SECX is “Cyber Resilience, Regulation & Sovereignty”.
The keynote will be delivered by Jens Wiesner, Head of Division TK15 – Industrial Control and Automation Systems at the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). In his presentation on “Cyberdome” he will provide valuable insights into current developments and key issues in the field of cybersecurity.
The conference is aimed at
- school pupils,
- students,
- persons with a research or teaching background,
- industry experts,
- and “geeks” in general who work with computer science and IT security.
